|Analytical Chemistry Lab - Room 2|
This laboratory room is primarily for the chemical analysis of organic species found in environmental water, wastewater and contaminated soil samples. Samples are routinely analyzed from environmental treatment and remediation processes designed and operated by graduate students in their research projects. Analytical instruments housed in this lab include several liquid and gas chromatographs including a Thermo Finnigan LCQ, a Thermo Finnigan Polaris Q GC-MS, a Shimadzu TOC Analyzer, an Aminco Bowman Luminescence Spectrometer, and a Sorvall RC-5B Centrifuge.
