Deborah Grubbe

Deborah has over 40 years’ experience in capital project management, manufacturing management (high hazard processes), operations and safety systems strategic assessment. Working both domestically and internationally, she has provided an owners’ perspective on all aspects of project management: capital budget planning and strategies, front end business planning, project planning, design, construction, commissioning and operations in the oil, petrochemical and chemical industries. She has deep experience in process safety management, safety culture assessments, occupational safety, quality management, Six Sigma and continuous improvement. In addition to industry, she has advised the US military, government agencies and educational institutions on operational excellence and performance. In the past 10 years Deb has focused on working with clients to improve their operational excellence and their safety culture. She has also served as a process safety management consultant and trainer, and has co-authored a textbook on process safety management. She serves on the boards of two technology start-ups, one in the USA and one in the UK. Her unique skill set has broadened her industry reach into utilities and healthcare. Deb brings to her work organizational insights, strong communication skills and an ability to work across different cultures.
