Undergrad research assistants Susha Kharchenko and Jing Xue earned recognition at Purdue's 2011 Undergraduate Research and Poster Symposium for best abstract in the Social Science/Humanities category ("Student Perceptions of Engineering: Triangulation of a Coding Scheme"). Doctoral student Ron Carr received a "best research" award at Purdue's Graduate Student Educational Research Symposium for "National Survey of States' P-12 Engineering Standards."
