Purzer accepted to Entrepreneurial Leadership Academy
The Burton D. Morgan Center for Entrepreneurship at Discovery Park operates the annual Entrepreneurial Leadership Academy (ELA).
Nominations require the endorsement of the department head and dean, and reflects their support of entrepreneurial activities.
Fellows meet once a week during the Fall and Spring semesters and receive seed funding for a project. Those can be background research, market analysis, pathway development, business plan development, instructional design or other related items for the interests that you described in your application. We will discuss guidelines in the fall.
This program has facilitated the launch of several companies, licenses, disclosures, new interdisciplinary centers, as well as new graduate and undergraduate courses and opportunities. The most important outcome of this program is a growing network of faculty who are interested in entrepreneurship and who can serve as resources of information for each other.
ENE associate professors Sean Brophy and Brent Jesiek were ELA Fellows during the 2014-2015 academic year.
