Matthew Verleger to Receive Graduate School Teaching Award

One of four honorees chosen for Purdue's 2008 Graduate School Excellence in Teaching Award, Verleger will be recognized at a banquet for the Celebration of Graduate Student Teaching on April 17.

A competitive award, the Graduate School Excellence in Teaching Award recognizes graduate students who exemplify excellence in the University's learning mission and is the highest award presented by the University in recognition of graduate student teachers. Selected students must have demonstrated excellence in teaching and mentoring at the undergraduate and/or graduate level. In addition, award winners should have accomplishments in service/outreach and scholarly publications.
