ENE Professors William Oakes, Teri Reed-Rhoads Named ASEE Fellows

Oakes and Reed-Rhoads will be formally recognized for their outstanding contributions to engineering education at the American Society for Engineering Education's June 2010 Annual Conference & Exposition.

William Oakes Oakes, director of Purdue's EPICS (Engineering Projects in Community Service) program and an associate professor in the School of Engineering Education, has held senior positions in the First-Year Engineering Program and in ASEE's College Industry Partnership and Educational Research Methods divisions. He is a past chair of ASEE's Illinois/Indiana section. 

 

Teri Reed-RhoadsReed-Rhoads, assistant dean of undergraduate education in the College of Engineering and an associate professor in the School of Engineering Education, has held senior positions in the K-12 and Educational Research Methods divisions of ASEE for over a decade, and has contributed in many ways to the development of the engineering education community.
