[vip-help] Code Commit Feedback

Hello,

I’m a freshman taking IPA as a one credit hour course, and I was wondering why I received a 0.33 / 2.0 average Git score on the Documentation and Code Commit Check. No comments were provided that explained my score, and I have made commented code commits every week that include the image processing tutorial (grayscale, smoothing, edge detection, thresholding), parsing the annotations file, and all of HOG and its visualization. Is there a rubric explaining what is expected from code commits every week? I could not find anything related that explained why my score was as low as it was.

I also received a 0.67 / 2.0 for the average Document score, with a comment stating “For week 4 you just show results, no discussion no new things learnt.” While I did show the results of my HOG implementation, I also included formulas that I derived for my code and the logic behind weighted histograms, which were both new things that I had to learn how to implement. Is there still something I was missing that caused my score to drop?

Thanks in advance.
