[vip-help] Mid-Semester Individual Performance Evaluation Extension

Hello,

My name is Karthik Selvaraj and I am a member of the Lane Detection group in the VIP IPA team. I emailed last week to notify Professor Zoltowski and Professor Delp that I was in a car accident over the weekend and could not attend class on Tuesday due to complications regarding the police report of the incident.

I was able to get this and a few other insurance issues resolved today and will be able to attend class next week. I just noticed that the Mid-Semester Individual Performance evaluation is due today. I emailed Professor Zoltowski about this earlier but only just realized that she is out-of-office today.

I was wondering if I would be able to get a one-day extension on the assignment due to the circumstances. I have already completed the CATME survey and just need more time to complete the two documents required by students in VIP 47922. If more proof of the accident is required, please let me know and I can supply this information.

I understand if I cannot receive the extension and will do my best to complete the assignment tonight. Thank you very much for your time and understanding.

Hi Professor Zoltowski,

Thank you for the response, and I apologize for getting back to you so late. Thankfully, nobody was hurt in the accident, and I was able to get everything resolved with the police department and insurance companies.

I was able to join the Zoom meeting using the link I received in a previous email, but I joined the meeting fairly late. I was still at the police station when class started and joined on my way home. I will be able to attend class in person next Tuesday, so this will not be an issue next week.

I recently noticed that the Mid Semester Individual Performance assignment was due today. Is there any way I could get a one-day extension on the assignment due to the circumstances? I can provide more proof of the accident if needed.

I completely understand if you cannot grant me the extension, and I will try to complete the assignment today regardless. Thank you very much for your time and understanding, and I will see you in class next week!

I have currently yet to receive some information from the Tippecanoe police department regarding the issue and must go to the police station to sort it out.



Since I am using public transportation, I am unsure of when I'll be back on campus. Would I be able to join this week's meeting via Zoom?
