Description:

Students will be tasked with automatically detecting pedestrians from 
still images obtained from a collection of traffic cameras. Students 
will then be asked to classify the behavior of the pedestrians using a 
random sample of images which have already been labeled by undergraduate 
research assistants. Ultimately, the results will be used to understand 
how people’s behavior changed during the Covid-19 pandemic, especially 
in response to government lockdown mandates.
