Hello MSE Department,

As we approach the end of the Fall semester, we’re opening Spring conference room reservations, available through May 31st. Please note that any reservations extending beyond this date will be returned for adjustment.
*Kind reminder: Occasionally, departmental priorities may require us to reassign rooms for urgent MSE needs. We’ll do our best to minimize disruptions and will always communicate any changes as early as possible.*

📍 Available MSE Conference Rooms

  *   ARMS 2326 – 24 people | Projector Screen
  *   ARMS 2237 – 8 people | TV Screen + adapters
  *   ARMS 2222 – 7 people | TV Screen + adapters
  *   ARMS B197 – 12 people | TV Screen + adapters
Rooms will appear in Outlook as “Materials Engineering – ARMS 2xxx” with their capacity listed. If a room does not include “MSE” in its title, it likely belongs to another department and may not be available for our use. Please be mindful that other departments have the same right to reclaim their spaces when needed.

🔔 General Reminders
• Please avoid double-booking—space is limited.
• Cancel or adjust your reservations promptly if plans change.
• Room administrators may release unused or repeatedly idle reservations.
• Conference rooms close at 5 p.m., unless accompanied by faculty (exception: ARMS B197).
• Include a clear purpose in your reservation title (e.g., Prof. Smith Meeting or (Company) Senior Design Team).
• Last-minute requests (submitted right before your meeting) cannot be approved, and we will not displace others already in the room.
• Please submit requests at least 24 hours in advance to allow proper scheduling and coordination.

💛 Shared Space Courtesy
Let’s continue taking care of our shared conference spaces—these rooms are used by students, faculty, staff, and our industry partners. After each use, please:

  *   Push in chairs
  *   Wipe whiteboards and tables clean
  *   Power down all lights, TVs, projectors, and AV equipment
Consistent care helps ensure these spaces remain welcoming for everyone. Please note that repeated disregard for room use expectations may result in temporary loss of reservation privileges.
