msepostdoc-list MSE Department Credit Card Requests

Hi All,

I hope you are enjoying your Summer!
I wanted to send an update on the process for requesting use of a department credit card. I have been fairly lenient when someone does stop by to request a card but I want to set an over all standard process. With this being said, prior to stopping by or possibly calling for a credit card, I will require you to send me an email with the following info below.

  *   What you are buying
  *   Where you are buying it from
  *   Short reason for purchase
  *   Estimated cost
  *   Account number that will be use for the purchase (F. #)
  *   Make sure to copy your advisor on this email

I will send a follow up email confirming receipt approving you to use one of the credit cards. Please make sure to be patient, I will respond but sending something during lunch and/or a meeting might delay the response slightly but I will be keeping up with requests. If I am out of the office (meaning you receive an autoreply stating I am out), then please loop in Lisa Stacey (staceyl at purdue.edu<mailto:staceyl at purdue.edu>) and Maddi Walsh (mhoverm at purdue.edu<mailto:mhoverm at purdue.edu>) as I would leave instruction with how I would like things handled.
