It is my pleasure to announce that the SHowcasing Images in Nature and Engineering (SHINE) Art Exhibit will be opening in Ringel Gallery in the Stewart Center on Monday, June 26. The gallery will be open 12pm-5pm Monday through Friday through August 4. Additionally, a SHINE exhibit opening reception will be held at 5pm on Thursday, June 29 in the Ringel Gallery. I would love for you to attend the reception and/or stop by the exhibit at your convenience over the next month or so. A flyer containing all of this information is attached.

SHINE is a STEM as Art Exhibit featuring "found" art acquired through experimental and computational research efforts across Purdue's campus. This year's exhibit features several images selected from the Birck Nanotechnology Center's Image Contest and guest curated by Dr. Neil Dilley. Many of you, your students, and your colleagues have pieces that have been selected this year. Thank you so much to those of you who submitted images for consideration.

The exhibit is supported by the NSF CMMI CAREER Award #2045908 and was co-curated by graduate students Angie Rojas and Nicole Franklin.
