msepostdoc-list MSE Updates for next few weeks over winter break

MSE faculty, staff, post-docs, & graduate researchers:

With the upcoming shutdown over winter break, please be aware of the following reminders:


  *   Armstrong Hall will be locked from 6:00 pm, Friday, December 18th to 7:00 am, Monday, January 4th. During that time, occupants may enter using their PUID card swipe at the South Atrium Entrance, or utilize your faculty/staff exterior door key if you have one.

  *   Friday, December 18th will be the final day of mail service. Deliveries will resume Monday, January 4th.  After this Friday (12/18), carriers will be holding packages for Purdue until we reopen on Monday, January 4th.  If you have packages awaiting pick-up in the MSE mail area, please claim them by 5 pm on Friday.  These dates also apply to outgoing mail and shipments, final campus pick-up at ARMS is Friday, 12/18 at 2 pm in 'ARMS 1128 campus mailbox'.
  *   If there is a true emergency, or a chemical spill while working in labs, call 911. All accidents or near misses should be reported to REM (the form is in your safety training on Brightspace) and mse-safety at purdue.edu
  *   Staffing will be reduced during the break period of Dec. 21st until Jan. 4th.  ,and the main MSE office will be closed.  Only faculty or staff with office keys can access the 2200/2300 office suites.

  *   Email auto-replies should be utilized when you are not working (on-campus or remote)

  *   If faculty or staff absolutely need to contact another faculty/staff, you can access contact info on the MSE Faculty and Staff Intranet Resource Page: https://engineering.purdue.edu/Intranet/Groups/Schools/MSE  using your PU log-in and password
