I have copied our laboratory technicians and safety folks so they are 
aware that the fume hoods throughout the building may go into a low-flow 
alarm while this work is being performed. _This will not affect the 
hoods performance_.

Please let us know what the specific timeline will be for this work.

Scott Fix and I had a discussion this morning about the project taking 
place in room B208. My concern was that during the disconnection and 
reconnection of the exhaust pipe, that low pressure alarms may be 
triggered on any other hoods that are on the same trunk line. I have the 
hoods in rooms B206, B214 and B208 scheduled and ready to be down for a 
couple days. But I need to communicate this to any other labs that their 
low pressure alarms may go off but that it wont effect their hood 
performance. I will try and stop in and talk with you this afternoon. Thanks
