Good Morning,

The printer name has been changed for ARMS 2200--old name mse2200p1.  You will all need to delete the 2200 printer and follow the directions below to install the printer 2200 again it will be arms2200p1.  There are directions for each computer system.  DO NOT delete 2300 at this time--only 2200.

This same thing will need to be done for the 2300 printer on Thursday after the change/maintenance is complete--an email reminder will be sent out on Thursday.

Hello Rosemary and Stacy,

The printer, arms2200p1 (used to be mse2200p1), has been migrated to our new server. Please feel free to forward the instructions below for anyone that needs to reconnect the printer. 

---- Please delete the old connections before continuing. ----
** For Windows:
Go to Start menu > Devices and Printers > right click on old printer, select Remove Device.

** For Mac:
Go to Printer and Scanner Utility > select the old printer, then click on '-' icon on the bottom left of the window.

----- Reconnecting the printer ----
1) For Windows system

Click the 'Start' button and in the search box, type the following, then press Enter.
\\ecnprint03.itap.purdue.edu\arms2200p1

After the driver is installed, the window with the 'Printer', 'Document' and 'View' menus can be closed.

If asked for username and password (like a laptop user), use the following format:
ecn\username (where username is your career account) (use your career account password)

2) For Linux system - Ubuntu

Visit the KB: Ubuntu - http://eng.purdue.edu/jump/b4150a Select 'Windows Printer via SAMBA' and set authenticate with 'ecn\username'
Map to this instead:
Host: ecnprint03.itap.purdue.edu
Queue: arms2200p1

3) For Mac system

Visit: http://eng.purdue.edu/jump/b4162d

For step 6, please use the following URL:
smb://ecnprint03.itap.purdue.edu/arms2200p1-ps 

If needed, on step 7, you will need to select the driver for the printers, Ricoh Aficio MP C4502 (If the printer isn't listed, please visit Apple store to download the driver:
https://support.apple.com/kb/DL1867?locale=en_US)

For step 8, select Finisher SR3039 and Lower Paper Tray

For step 9, you will use your Purdue career account to log into the printer.
