The International Space Station is NASA’s prime research and technology 
development platform that is enabling humans to safely and productively 
go from LEO to destination beyond, including cislunar space and onto 
Mars. Mr. Scimemi will present an overview of the research and 
technology development being conducted onboard the ISS in the fields of 
human health and performance, life support system, and other systems 
that are essential to human spaceflight that are directly tied to NASA’s 
Journey to Mars.
