Dear colleagues,
We appreciate everyone’s help over this week to facilitate the lab move. We are trying our best to have every group back to “normal” operation as soon as possible.
Attached is the general guideline from the school regarding how the lab safety and access control are managed effectively from today.
The school is assigning office desks to graduate students now. The notifications will be sent to PIs before next Monday. After that please follow the procedure to request card access for your students.
At present, all students and postdocs will be assigned to SL041 – the ME graduate hub assigned by the college. The room was rearranged with new furniture installed. All desks in that room will be assigned so please remind your students to work in the shared space in a respectful and professional way. The university policy also requests the school to claim back any unproperly used space in middle of the calendar year.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Regards,
Jun
