“No Impact Life in Greater Lafayette: Purdue”

Is there a culture of sustainability at Purdue and in the Greater Lafayette Area? Can the messages of sustainability from the book, "No Impact Man" be woven into university culture and your everyday actions? Explore these questions and engage in conversation in this highly interactive Global Cafe program! 



This November, come hear about and discuss how different cultures live sustainably, with little or no adverse impact on the environment. The presenters will provide insights into how sustainable living is relevant to culture from their perspectives and experiences, drawing on excerpts from author Colin Beavan's best seller "No Impact Man." ( http://noimpactproject.org/ ) 



A Certificate of Awareness, approved by the Purdue International Students and Scholars Office in conjunction with the International Center, will be awarded to individuals who attend the entire November series, participate in the discourse and offer reflections in writing at the end of the series.
