"We, the graduate students of the Ecological Sciences and Engineering (ESE) Interdisciplinary Graduate Program, wish to express our complete disapproval of groups that promote racism and hate on our campus. It is our belief that Purdue University benefits from a racially and culturally diverse student body, and this is especially true in ESE. Diversity enriches our educational, cultural, and social experiences, making us better scholars and better people. Recognizing the importance of our differences cultivates shared values that define the ESE community. As graduate students, we extend our full support to all members of our community and affirm that you are valued and respected here, at Purdue."
