Resource Productivity Panelists


Anita Joglekar, President and CEO of Rainmakers Worldwide,
uses cutting edge technologies and inventions in clean energy, water and food technologies to develop sustainable infrastructure for communities.

Denise Coogan, Manager of Safety and Environmental Compliance Subaru of Indiana Automotive, has eliminated 99.8% of waste and manages zero-waste-to-landfill at the 2.9 million square foot manufacturing plant that assembles the Subaru Legacy and Outback.
Greg Spratt, Chief Sustainability Officer at Eli Lilly, works to drive efforts to lessen Lilly's environmental impact through increased energy efficiency and decreases in greenhouse gas emissions, water intake, and waste-to-landfill.

Paul Mitchell, President and CEO of Energy Systems Network, leads
an initiative focused on bringing clean technology to market and provides development and coordination for collaborative and joint ventures between members who are working to commercialize new technologies.  Mitchell previously served in the Office of Governor Mitch Daniels as Policy Director for Economic Development, Workforce, & Energy.













Smart Growth/Walkable Community Panelists

Dr. Daniel Aldridge, Fulbright Scholar, University of Tokyo authored over 25 peer reviewed articles and 60 reviews, including a book called "Building Resilience" on the role of social networks in disaster recovery.



Bill Brown, Director of Sustainability for Indiana University, teaches Sustainable Communities in the IU School of Public and Environmental Affairs Masters of Public Administration program in addition to organizing sustainability initiatives on IU's campus.



Tammara Tracy, Senior Planner, City of Indianapolis, for the past 8 years has specialized in zoning, land use, urban design, small business, and economic development within communities.



Bob Koester, Director, Center for Energy Research, Council of the Environment Chairman, and professor of architecture at Ball State University.



Dr. Scott Truex, Ball State College of Architecture and Planning,
specializes in urban design, community design and sustainable development practices.





Regenerative Agriculture Panelists


Nate and Emily Parks, Owner/Operators of Silverthorn Farm,
have transitioned a traditional 120 acre farm near Rossville, Indiana
to an organic and diversified vegetable and animal farm.


Gary Burniske, Managing Director for the Center for Global Food Security, is a specialist in international relief and development with a technical background in sustainable agriculture, forestry, and natural resource management.


Jodee Ellett, Purdue's first Local Foods Coordinator, works to reinforce connections between farmers and consumers to meet consumer demand for local food and make a statewide system stronger. In addition, the Ellett family built Gener8 Farms, a CSA that exchanges customer help in raising produce for discounted prices.



Adam Moody, Moody Meat, a fifth generation farmer, began sustainable practices on his farm in 1987. Moody Meats has expanded to two retail locations in Avon and Zionsville and the majority of their meat is raised by the Moody family farm or by selected local farmers.


Dr. John Motloch, Director of Land Design Institute and Ball State University professor specializes in sustainable design, resource balance land management and eco-economic and community development.
