Hello Students,

I wanted to bring to your attention a few excellent opportunities to complete your PDHs for this semester:

Learning Series:  May be helpful for your teams that are working with exhibits, schools, or other educational situations. The 'Learning Series' is a set of PDHs that cover how people learn in formal and informal settings, and may be really enlightening for your team and help ensure your projects are successful. If there are elements of teaching and learning in your project, I highly encourage you to check out these PDHs, including one tomorrow afternoon, Sept 17 at 4:30 pm in ARMS 1109. Register as usual in MyEPICS.

Systems Engineering: May be helpful for all teams with complex projects. The 'Systems Engineering' series will help teams learn how to determine project requirements and manage complexity in design. Sessions are taught be engineers in industry from such companies as Eli Lily, Rolls Royce, and Cummins. The next session is coming up this Wednesday, Sept 18 at 4:30 in ARMS 1109. Register as usual in MyEPICS.

Entrepreneurship Series: May be helpful for teams that are interested in commercializing their project, or in maximizing the impact of their projects. This series is taught by experienced entrepreneurs and faculty of the certificate of entrepreneurship, and is a great introduction to how businesses are created. The next session is this Thursday, Sept 19 at 4:30 in ARMS 1109. Register as usual in MyEPICS.
