CELEBRATE PURDUE'S THINKERS, CREATORS, & EXPERIMENTERS- March 5th
"Celebrate Purdue's Thinkers, Creators, and Experiments" ("Celebrate...") allows undergrads in research or creative endeavors to engage attendees by showcasing their work in this up-close symposium. This "non-poster, poster session" encourages participants to bring their research to the Co-Rec for attendees to learn what they are working on through the five senses.

Student Service Learning Grants - Due February 7th
All EPICS projects with non-Purdue partners should apply: Purdue's Office of Engagement provides grants to students or student organizations for work on community service learning projects. This program's goal is to expand the community involvement of Purdue students in partnership with communities, nonprofit agencies, schools, and governmental bodies. Both the application and guidelines for the Student Grant Program for Community Service/Service Learning Projects can be found online: https://slg.engagement.purdue.edu

Purdue Journal of Service Learning - Submissions due Feb 15
Ever considered publishing on your EPICS work? Publication in the Fall 2019 issue of the journal requires that abstract submissions be received no later than Feb. 15 and complete article submissions no later than April 1. Submissions are made directly to the PJSL website. Proposals are accepted on a rolling basis, and those received after the deadlines will be considered for the following 2020 issue.

Dyson Rapid Prototyping Workshop - March 6
The presentation will introduce students to the design process behind three of Dyson's most well-known products and provides students with exclusive hints and tips on what makes a good entry to the James Dyson Award. The workshop tasks students to design something that solves a problem addressed by a previous James Dyson Award winner (the trick is they don't know what the design solution is).
