Welcome new and returning EPICS Students!
Being part of EPICS gives you access to the EPICS Computing Lab (ARMS 1095), Design Build Lab (ARMS B103), Electrical Hardware and Prototype Assembly Labs (both in ARMS 1098). Since your safety is important to us, access via your Purdue ID is granted only after you review the Lab Safety Awareness and Use Guidelines form.

Even if you don't take advantage of opening doors with your PUID card, participating in any of the EPICS activities (including weekly labs) requires you to be aware of the risks present in the labs and have a minimum knowledge of what to do in case of emergency. Because the form content may be revised at any time, all EPICS participants are required to review the form at least once per year.

In the spirit of continuous improvement, the form has been moved to Purdue Passport. Please visit https://www.openpassport.org/Account/Login?ReturnUrl=%2f to access it. Make sure you are part of the EPICS group to see the EPICS safety badge. Please visit me in ARMS 1210 if you have any issues or questions. Thanks in advance for your cooperation.

Thanks,

Jorge Martinez
