*         Dress code is business casual or better.

*         Plan to use the podium PC, not your personal laptop. Preferably bring your presentation on a flash drive.

*         Do not log in/out of the podium PC with your personal account.

*         Leave the GoToMeeting session on and do not adjust the screen sharing.

*         Congratulations on a great semester, and best of luck to all teams at your design review!

Delivering This Semester?
Generally speaking, it is too late to deliver projects this semester, and you would be wiser to wait to the start of the spring so your team is available if anything goes wrong. If your team does plan to deliver your project this semester, and your advisor approves, please be sure to complete the EPICS delivery checklist. This includes projects that have final deliverables of non-tangible products (project plans, formal recommendations, etc). Find more information on the delivery process at https://engineering.purdue.edu/EPICS/teams/team-documents/project-delivery. Remember, without a checklist, you will not receive an EPICS delivery t-shirt.

Study Abroad Opportunity - GAQT in Kenya
Air pollution is the largest environmental health risk in the world and responsible for 7 million deaths each year (WHO, 2012).  Poor air quality is a serious issue in rapidly growing megacities and inside the homes of nearly 3 billion people that rely on solid fuels (e.g. wood, coal) for cooking and heating.  We are an interdisciplinary team of engineers, health scientists, anthropologists, and atmospheric scientists that are working to identify and solve air quality challenges across the globe.  We will be working to mitigate indoor air pollution in kitchens of the Nandi community in western Kenya, where women and their children are exposed to highly elevated concentrations of toxic pollutants released by biomass stoves, including carbon monoxide and soot. Two groups of Nandi women have been formed and have developed their own holistic, clean kitchen systems. See https://www.studyabroad.purdue.edu/programs/flyer.cfm?flyer=1314 for details.
