[Embrio-list] Reminders for EMBRIO events week of July 8th

Dear EMBRIO Members,

Our Summer School begins in two weeks on July 8th - 10th followed by our 3rd Annual Retreat at Purdue University taking place July 11th - 12th . Poster presenters: poster titles and abstracts, and 1 min lightning talk slide are due Monday, July 1st  . Please see the link below for submitting these items.
The Institute is holding a Best Scientific Figure Award competition to recognize top scientific figures (including live cell or simulation videos) from research conducted by EMBRIO graduate students. Nominations and submissions are due this Wednesday by Noon, June 26th. See the attached 1 pager for details and link for how to nominate your work and submit your scientific figure (we will hold a best manuscript competition this Fall).

Thrust Leaders: Thank you for organizing your thrust project presentations for this event. Please find the downloadable presentation template on the Annual Retreat<https://www.purdue.edu/research/embrio/research/annual-retreat.php> page. Slide 2 of the template contains the theme for the talks, along with instructions helpful for the presentations. As we did last year, we’ll have presenters run their PowerPoints from their own laptops to best preserve graphics and videos.
