The first CC meeting of the 2023-2024 year is coming up soon, Friday Sept. 15 (three weeks from today)!   We hope to see you there!

Speakers will include:

Wen Lu (Gelfand lab, Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine)
     The dynamic duo of microtubule polymerase Mini spindles/XMAP215
      and cytoplasmic dynein is essential for maintaining Drosophila oocyte fate
Ron Rock (University of Chicago)
     New optogenetic tools for labeling and patterning actin
Rafael Garcia-Mata (University of Toledo)
     The role of SGEF in the regulation of epithelial cell adhesion
William Brieher (University of Illinois Urbana-Champagne)
    Actin polymerization and the maintenance of epithelial cell-cell adhesion
Eric Vitriole (Medical College of Georgia, Augusta University)
    Control of microtubules in neuronal processes by profilin 1 and actomyosin


Place: Simpson Querrey Auditorium, Lurie Building, Feinberg School of Medicine

Time: Talks are from 3:00 until ~6:15, followed by a social hour with refreshments.
