This is a reminder about the upcoming safety seminar with Dr. Mary Beth Mulcahy, hosted by the ChE safety Committee and ChESS on this Friday, December 16 from 12-1 pm in FRNY G124. Pizza and drinks will be available. Dr. Mary Beth Mulcahy, is the Manager in Global Chemical and Biological Security (GCBS) at Sandia National Laboratories, and Editor-in-Chief for the ACS Chemical Health and Safety Journal. She also has experience with the Chemical Safety Board (CSB). She will be giving the safety presentation: "Approaching Research Safety: When you Hear Hoof Beats, Think...Horses? Zebras?". We feel very fortunate and honored to have Dr. Mulcahy on campus sharing her experience and view on safety with us, and to learn from her.
