[Che-student-staff-list] New ChE Administrative Assistant

Dear All,

I am pleased to announce that our Chemical Engineering Department has a new Administrative Assistant, Elizabeth Losey, who begins her first day with us today. Elizabeth, or Liz for short, has a background in IT and comes from ITaP's Computer Service Center (CSC). She was more specifically located in the Stewart Center, and assisted users with any and all IT-related help or information. Liz will be undergoing the necessary training for the specific administrative processes and systems utilized here in our School, already proving to be a quick learner, I know she will succeed in adding to our already excellent staff at our School. She is located in the FRNY 1029 suite and you are all welcome to drop by and say hello. She will also be working closely with Lauren Hays in the Main Office while she familiarizes herself as a backup to Lauren's position. Liz's position will mainly provide clerical support to our faculty as the typical position requires. Once she has become more acclimated, I will be revising some of the faculty support assignments. This will greatly allow all of our Administrative Assistants more opportunity to provide dedicated support that our faculty need, especially with all of the changes the University has recently undergone.
Your patience during the next few weeks of training is greatly appreciated. We all enjoy our ability to serve you and play a role in helping to make our School succeed.
