I've set up a driver for our group, so we can store any material that's relevant to us. I already included some materials, as the XAS raw data, some articles, lab safety and administrative resources.



Please, feel free to upload any material that you want, such as useful articles and books (Literature folder), as well as codes and programs (General Resources). We have a folder called "Group Material", which is meant to store all reports and articles that we've wrote, including the end of the semester and Quals. This way we all have easy access to our own material.



Also, we need to upload the MSDS's for our lab's chemicals to this driver. Since we have many of them, it's easier if we split them between us. I'll send a list later assigning some chemicals to each one and we can slowly upload them to the folder.

- In Step #4, the name of the driver is: \\atom.ecn.purdue.edu\millergrp<file://atom.ecn.purdue.edu/millergrp>

- Your username is: ecn\purdueaccount, and your password

- If you want to connect from off-campus (i.e., not using the PAL 3.0 network), you need to connect to Purdue's VPN: https://webvpn.purdue.edu

        Tip: if you use Google Chrome, the download will probably fail no matter how many times you try because it'll fail to recognize the Java App. Try using Firefox (I learned that the hard way). Not sure if IE will work.



Also, everybody in the group should have access to the folder. If you can't modify folders or upload anything, email me and I'll talk to ECN.

Are you talking about getting access to the CHEMBUS drive? I think that is what it's called but I will be working tomorrow so I can ask and figure it out. I emailed Robin because I am pretty sure someone had to come in and give me access to that drive but I will let you know!
