We have a lot of fun and exciting events coming up this week and throughout the month of September.  Please come out and participate or share with others and invite them to support United Way!


Poverty Simulation - Sept. 15
Attached is the flyer about the poverty simulation. Register today and help promote the poverty simulation on Thurs, Sept. 15 from 9am - Noon at the Kurz Purdue Technology Center in Purdue Research Park.  It is FREE but registration is required:  http://www.uwlafayette.org/poverty-simulation-kurz


Splash or Cash Challenge Event - Sept. 16
Friday, September 16   All Day, 8am - 5pm
Loeb Fountain, in Founders Park near Beering Hall

Make sure to "like" Purdue United Way on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram so that you can follow us.  A Facebook event has been created for the Splash or Cash Challenge. Use the hashtag #PurdueUWsplash on social media.  Share the event with your friends!

Volunteer - Pick a Project!
This is the Month of Caring and we want to show the community that Purdue University cares! Have you considered doing a service project with your team or your unit?  This is a great opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others through service.  Go to the United Way Volunteer website and click on "Month of Caring" to view available projects and to sign up:  http://www.uwlafayette.org/volunteer-center


Dine to Donate $1 - Sept. 19-30
Purdue Dining & Catering is partnering with Purdue United Way to ask customers to donate a $1 to "Fuel a Future Boiler" at select retail dining locations.  Give to United Way and collect buttons!
