[Che-student-staff-list] Invitation to Forney East Wing Inauguration

Dear Colleagues,

On Friday, September 9, we will have a ceremony to inaugurate the newly updated East Wing of Forney Hall. The renovation work is substantially complete with only minor cosmetic touch-ups to be finished. We'll have members from our Industrial Advisory Council, alumni, the construction crew from Kettelhut, and the architects from Scholer in attendance.

On behalf of the School of Chemical Engineering, I would like to invite you to participate as well. We will showcase updated facilities and how they are enabling the School to reach its goals. This is the culmination of a long term effort which started with planning the addition, continued with construction, and then a 12 year renovation process of the CMET building.

Here is the proposed agenda.


*       10.30 - everyone gathers in the hallway on 1st floor, outside office 1015

*       10.45 - brief remarks from Dr. Caruthers and Dr. Kim

*       11.00 - cutting the ribbon

*       11.00 to 12.00 - light refreshments and tours of the East Wing

No RSVP is needed for this event, but I hope you are able to participate even for a short time.
