Congratulations to Bryan Boudouris for his promotion to Associate Professor rank with tenure.  Bryan, we're so proud of all your accomplishments, in every area of academic endeavor - and much more yet to come!

Congratulations also to Mike Harris for renaming his Reilly Professorship to the Covalt Professorship.  The former was a two-year appointment bridge-funded by the CoE until the Covalt Professorship, generosity of our distinguished alumnus Bob Covalt (BSChE '53, HDR '92) and Ginny Covalt, was fully funded - it was, last Fall.

Purdue's Board of Trustees today (April 8) endorsed a new Purdue Polytechnic Institute bachelor's degree to be offered at its statewide locations that would allow industry partners to aid in customizing degree options to better suit the educational needs of their employees. Trustees also approved administratively housing three Indiana University degree programs in Purdue schools on the Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis campus.
