Dear Colleagues,

I am writing to thank you for your help and participation in the OChE and IAC events last week.  By all accounts, both were successful events, enjoyed greatly by our OChE honorees, the IAC members and the ChE Ambassadors.

I was present at the Mackey arena yesterday when Alan Fox received his Pinnacle award - the highest Purdue recognition for donors, who give $1 million or more.  This is the 8th year in a row that a ChE alumnus has received the Pinnacle award (2013 was already covered by Jerry Skidmore, who received the honor in 2-13, in Naples, FL - so now we have 2 for 2013) and our 9th year is also secured with Jay Ihlenfeld in Feb 2014!  We are blessed to have such accomplished, loyal and generous alumni!

Thank you for all that you do to make our School a wonderful place to educate our students, to conduct cutting-edge research, and for us to work -  dedicated and motivated people are the most important and critical ingredient for success of any organization and we have it in abundance!
