Hi,
It hasn't happened lately but I wanted to send out a reminder that if you are using Exchange for your email (You usually, but not necessarily use Outlook in the office to read your mail) and you also use a phone or tablet to access your email/calendar, you need to shut off the phone and or tablet BEFORE changing your password or else you may lock your account.
ITAP has specific instructions on this page:
https://support.purdue.edu/goldanswers/183871
If you do lock your account there is nothing I can do to fix your problem except call ITAP and have them unlock your account but you can also do this (make sure to disable your phone / tablet before they unlock it or it will just get locked again).
ITAP can be reached at 765-494-4000 to help with this issue when it arises.
