The College of Engineering is a major sponsor for TEDxPurdueU 2013 which is coming up on April 12th.



Tickets are now available for purchase at http://www.tedxpurdueu.com<http://www.tedxpurdueu.com/> and cost $10 for students, $15 for the general public, free for children under 12. TEDxPurdueU t-shirts are also available for purchase at the time of ticket transactions.



TEDxPurdueU will be held on April 12th, 2013 at Loeb Playhouse from 1:00p.m.-6:00p.m. Registration for the event opens at 11:30a.m, doors open at 12:30p.m. This year's theme of "Past, Present, Progress" will reflect on the critical times which we currently face and the positive prospects for our future. Speakers include an advocate for women's equality, a veterinary oncologist, a space visionary, and many other innovative thinkers from the Purdue community.
