Miscellaneous

*         Our School has now an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) located on the 1st floor in the new building, just as you cross the bridge coming from the original part of the building. I thank Dr. Yury Zvinevich for his efforts in getting this installed in Forney Hall. In case of an emergency, please call 911 first, then start any resuscitation activity.

*         The following individuals have received CPR training recently and can also use the AED:

*         This is a reminder that all engineering equipment is listed and can be searched on our intranet at https://engineering.purdue.edu/Intranet/Groups/Schools/ChE. This will allow you to find some equipment you may need to use infrequently that already exists at Purdue and contact the "owner" directly. If you can't find what you need on this list, please email me and I will check with property accounting if it is available outside engineering.

*         Arwa El Hagrasy has been promoted to Associate Research Scientist. Congratulations Arwa!

*         GE is running two quests with $600K in prizes to reduce travel delays and to streamline a patient's experience in the hospital. Please see attachment for details.
