Dear Colleagues,

I am delighted to inform that Jim Litster will receive the 2012 Thomas Baron Award in Fluid-Particle Systems.  The award is given by the Particle Technology Forum of the AIChE, and will be presented at the AIChE Annual meeting in Pittsburgh this October.  

Jim's citation reads: “For seminal and field-defining contributions in the area of particle design and formulation, with particular emphasis on the science and engineering of wet granulation systems.”

With this and the previously announced awards for Nick Delgass and Rex Reklaitis, the AIChE meeting this year will be memorable.
