Dear Colleagues,



A quick note that David Pershing , BSChE 1970 from our School, has been named President of the University of Utah.  He had served as their senior vice president for Academic Affairs since 1998.  I visited with him in Spring 2009 when I was at the Univ of Utah to present a seminar.  He received both OChE and DEA awards from Purdue in 1999.
