[Che-student-staff-list] New Server Install - Wednesday/Thursday of this week

Hi,

Atom, the main file and mail server for ChE will be replaced this week with a new, faster machine and storage system.  As a part of this process ECN will need to 'lock down' the file system while the changeover is made.

As a result, no one will be able to make any changes to files located on Atom between 12am and 7:30am on Thursday, April 12th.

I will also post a note in the undergrad computer labs and a note will be posted in the MOTD (message of the day), however faculty or TA's might want to mention this to their students since some like to work late at night in the labs.
