Dear all

We received 18 applications for the Shreve Travel Award and Julie Liu and I formed a small committee to decide the 10 travel award winners.  This was a difficult decision as the quality of the presentation abstracts at national and international conferences was very high.  As stated in the call for applications, we gave priority to first time presenters where possible.  It is my pleasure to announce the winners are:

All the winners are presenting at the AIChE meeting except for Katie Smith, who is presenting at ECS Meeting in Boston.  I am sure you will join me in congratulating these travel awardees.  Awardees should see the business office for how to claim their award against their conference travel expenses.

Another round of Shreve Travel Award call for applications will be announced at the start of January for conference presentations in Spring and Summer 2012.
