o   Professor Corti attended 2011 Frontiers of Engineering Education Symposium

*         Staff Recognition:

o   Amy Hayden, Account Clerk V, is recognized for 10 years of service at Purdue, out of which 7.5 in Chemical Engineering



*         Student Recognition:

o   Alyssa DeVries, Senior, is highlighted in the  fall 2011 issue of the Purdue Co-Op magazine, page 9 at https://engineering.purdue.edu/ProPractice/Spotlights/fall-2011-professional-practice-newsletter

o   Keith Kral, Senior, received the inaugural ChE Centennial Scholarship

o   Miranda McCormack, Junior, named Purdue Student Trustee by Governor Mitch Daniels

o   Caleb Miskin, Graduate Student, received the inaugural ChE Centennial Fellowship

*         December  Graduation - Our School will grant 20 BS and 3 PhD degrees at the December 18 commencement:

*         Miscellaneous

o    GoRemote: Need to create a PDF, edit a Word document, or maybe touch up a photo but you don't have the application on your computer?  ITaP's Software Remote (GoRemote) provides free access to applications such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Matlab, Mathematica, Aspen and many more. o    Filelocker: Need to share large files securely for a short period with someone on or off campus?  ItaP offers a solution called 'filelocker' that allows just that.
