INVITATION: Education for Energy Equity in Built Environments

Dear SCMT students,

I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to you on behalf of the research team led by Dr. Soowon Chang at Purdue University (IRB 2024-1075). We are currently conducting a study titled “Student Awareness, Knowledge, Experience, and Interest in Energy Equity in Built Environments”. We are inviting you to participate in a survey to share your experiences, insights, and recommendations regarding the current education in Energy Equity in Built Environments. The survey will include two sections: 1) demographic and academic background information; and 2) awareness, knowledge, and interest in energy equity.

It should take you about 10-15 minutes to answer all the survey questions. 15 participants will be randomly selected to receive a $15 Starbucks gift card. Your responses are not tied to this link and will remain anonymous. The approximate odds of winning a gift card are 15%.

This is not tied to any course and responses are anonymous. Your participation is voluntary. Participation / non-participation will not affect your academic status, employment, or membership. If you are 18 years old or above and studying or interested in the AEC industry, you are welcome to take the survey. Any personal identifiable data will not be collected or disclosed, and your response will be stored for three years after closing the protocol.
