Dear LSCCE Faculty and Staff,

This has been a great team effort and we are expecting over 500 construction academics and industry participants from all over the world to attend. While several of our faculty and staff are already working very hard to make this a success, we would like to invite the rest of the faculty and staff to also participate and assist during this important event.

 I am writing to encourage all of you to attend the conference and, if your time permits, volunteer to help with the conference activities. Several volunteering opportunities are available to include: session moderators, helping with the registration booth, helping with the Industry Forum, managing the vendor and student poster areas, helping with the doctoral school, helping with the National Academy of Construction Safety Symposium, helping with the Global Leadership Forum, etc. The cost of registration for faculty/staff volunteers is $400 and in addition GS has kindly offered to provide some limited support on a cost sharing basis. Those of you who plan to attend but would not have the time to volunteer might find this beneficial to explore (regular registration is $900 at the CIB Membership rate).  Several faculty and staff have already given a tremendous amount of time to the conference and they will of course benefit from the lower cost of registration.

 Please let me know If you would like to take advantage of this and I will facilitate your registration through Purdue conferences and work with you to determine how best you can help with the conference activities from May 19-23, 2025.

I appreciate GS stepping in to offer limited financial support on a cost sharing basis to facilitate increased participation from our faculty and staff.
