[Cce-faculty-list] Election of CCE Representatives to the Faculty Senate

Hi everyone,

We have been notified that we need to elect two members to the Faculty Senate for 2026.  Dulcy and Larry have both served two terms and are not eligible for an additional term.  They have done a great job, and we owe them a huge vote of gratitude.  Julio is a member of the Senate at-large and is currently serving as vice-chair of the Senate.  He will be the chair of the Senate next year.  We must elect two additional members.

The requirements/eligibility for these positions are;
*        Terms are three years, with a limit of two successive terms, to begin Fall of 2026.
*        Tenured, tenure-track, clinical, and clinical-track are all voting faculty members eligible to serve on the Senate and its Standing Committees.  This includes all ranks, i.e., assistant, associate, and full.
*        Faculty of Engineering Practice are eligible, but research faculty are not.
*        The University Senate Quick Reference Guide<https://www.purdue.edu/senate/about/reference.php> includes more information related to the responsibilities of the Senate.

The first step of the process is for people to declare that they want to "opt-out" of consideration.  Please reply to both Brad and me by Tuesday, Jan 27, if you do not want to be considered for election.  We cannot accept late "declarations", due to a tight deadline we have been provided.
