[Cce-faculty-list] Talent-based hiring

Colleagues:
Through FGC members, several potential candidate names were collected from all of you for talent-based hiring. These are being evaluated by the School's Named and Distinguished Professors committee to create a short list of people. We are hoping to invite the short-listed group for a departmental seminar as the next step in the process.
We will have a chance to discuss this topic at our next faculty meeting - this message is more of an FYI.
