[Cce-faculty-list] CEGSAC Emerging Leader Award Nominations Now Open

Good afternoon, Professors of Civil and Construction Engineering,

CEGSAC is excited to announce we are now accepting nominations for the 9th Annual Emerging Leader Award.

This award honors a recent graduate of the Lyles School of Civil and Construction Engineering (within the past five years) who has demonstrated exceptional potential as a rising leader in their field, whether in industry or academia. As part of this recognition, CEGSAC will sponsor the awardee's travel to Purdue for a special day of engagement with current students, sharing their professional journey, and reconnecting with faculty. The Awardee will give a presentation to Civil and Construction students on career experiences and how to best tailor graduate school for success in our profession.

The nomination deadline is Friday October 31st at 11:59 PM. The Emerging leader Award Presentation will be in the early spring of 2026.

By submitting a nomination, you can broaden where current students may see themselves in 5 years, strengthen the often-overlooked link between current students and young alumni, and showcase great work in your field.
