The 2024-25 academic year marked a major transition in the history of the Lyles School of Civil and Construction Engineering.  I would like to thank all faculty and staff for your collective efforts towards the successful merger of our two schools.  We have now passed the first six months of the merger; I ask that you please respond to a short survey to provide feedback regarding what efforts the school's leadership can take to support the faculty, staff, and students' transition to our new structure.
This survey process will be carried out in confidence.  It will be retrospective, and thus, will consider merger efforts that have been taken in the past.  It will also be prospective in that it will be used to suggest areas for emphasis and change to further the successful engagement of faculty, staff, and students in the future. As part of the survey process, Human Resources will send out a survey soliciting input from all Lyles School of Civil and Construction Engineering faculty and staff.  Within the next day or two you will receive an email from Adedayo Adeniyi (lod at purdue.edu<mailto:lod at purdue.edu>). This email will contain the link to the survey, which should take 5-10 minutes to complete.  Please take the appropriate time to contribute your perspective and provide your responses by 11:59 p.m. on February 19, 2025.  The survey instrument consists of several Likert scale questions and 1 open-ended question.  I would greatly appreciate you taking the time to give feedback.
