all:

i got a number of responses to my previous e-mail regarding a faculty forum on students' use of AI tools, so i have set up a time and place:  12:30 pm on monday (8/18) in HAMP1144.  i hope that all interested can make it at that time. i'll send out a flyer and reminder some time next week.

i'm attaching a presentation by the CoE shared by GS on a closely related topic.  i'm also reaching out to colleagues in ME and ENE for info on what they are doing with regards to students' use of AI tools.  if they are available, i may invite their participation in our faculty forum.
