It is with mixed feelings that I bring this message to you. Sue Khalifah has accepted the position of Assistant Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs where she will be leading organizational initiatives promoting faculty hiring, career development, retention and more. Her last day with us in her current position in CCE will be Oct. 18, 2024.
Sue has been with us for just over 8 years as Student Experience Director. She has focused on recruitment and outreach for the School, and has connected with prospective students and families as well as FYE's, and worked with our Student Ambassadors, students, staff and faculty in meaningful ways to excite and promote civil and construction engineering. She expresses her sincere appreciation for the support and contribution from students, faculty and staff in all the initiatives she has created over the years.
She will be continuing with her current teaching responsibilities in CCE through the send of this semester, and will continue to be engaged with us through the Provost's office.
