All:
I hope your summer is going well.
As you know, we are now the Lyles School of Civil and Construction Engineering (LSCCE) starting July 01, 2024. Today marks a new era for us as we look forward to greater collaborations between and educational and experiential opportunities for our students.
Here are some announcements pertaining to this merger.

  1. Hubo Cai has agreed to serve as the Associate Head for the LSCCE. He will serve as the point person for the CNE undergraduate curriculum, serve as the external liaison for our undergraduate programs, and be responsible for developing some new initiatives in the School.
  2. The new LSCCE website will serve as a clear and comprehensive source of information for current, future, and prospective Purdue LSCCE students, as well as alumni and friends of the school. A wide range of content covering all things from academic resources to news and events is conveniently available at http://engineering.purdue.edu/CCE. We are expecting a new template to be handed down to us from the CoE, thus we may be looking at changes in the future.
  3. Going forward, you will find our new logos and templates (Letterhead, Powerpoint Presentations, e-mail signature, seminar template, etc) for LSCCE at the following URL:
https://engineering.purdue.edu/Intranet/Groups/Schools/CE/Forms/CE-Logos.html

  1. As we are now one school, our social media page names have been changed and all news and updates will be shared on the Lyles School platforms. If you have any news or updates you would like to see shared on our school's website and/or social media platforms, please reach out to Drew Stone and Brad Caffery.
  2. The signage in the building has been changed to reflect the new name in most instances. However, named spaces have not been altered.
  3. Some details about the merger are available at https://engineering.purdue.edu/CE/AboutUs/News/Features/files/CE-CEM-Merger-FAQ. You are able to post questions at that website about the merger.
A big Thank You to all for helping make this a smooth transition!
Best.
GS
